Very cool, indeed.  Elegent use of javascript.  
I suspect the subway option is possible, since it's just a bunch more data
points toward the center areas..

I appreciate the fact that realtor.com is reverse-engineer-friendly to the
extent that 'areaid' maps exactly to region names, and they don't mangle
the url.  Yay.

Hm... if you could get a reliable source for driving commute times, and
put in the subway as well, I see potential for a very popular site. :-)
