That sounds good, because I probably can't afford much more than
$SYMBOLIC_AMOUNT anyway. It makes me feel guilty when I see who paid
"between $100 and $499" or whatever the brackets are but I don't have that
kind of money at the moment.

As I understood Damian's diary, they do -- at any rate, he said something
along the lines of "we have about a third of our sponsorship money, which
will pay for Dan and me until April" or so. Which sounded as if partial
grants would pay for pro-rated time periods.
