Which underlying product are you using? IBM supplies a Perl interface to its own MQ Series messaging service. See
http://www-3.ibm.com/software/ts/mqseries/txppacs/ma89.html

JMS is an API, not a wire protocol, so a Perl interface to JMS doesn't make sense, per se. That said, it would make perfect sense to have a "JMS equivalent" on the model of DBI/DBD. But, like DBD, you would still need an adapter for your specific MOM product.

Hi all,

We're looking for a perl interface to the Java Messaging Service. We
haven't found anything on CPAN, perlmonks, jguru, Sun's Java site,
Freshmeat, or elsewhere (although we did find one recent post asking the
same thing!) Anyone know of a way to do this? (other than using the
Inline::Java module, which still seems a little experimental for a business
setting.)

Hi:
Any of you EDIers know if/how Perl supports JMS?

Thx,
Jim

BTW, does anyone know if there is a way to send a JMS (Java Message
Service)
message from perl?
