hi all,

i assume there will be a meeting this tuesday. i don't have a sox game
to go to so i will make it. :/

i have a suggestion for a talk topic, table driven testing. i have used
tables of data (lists of hashes) to drive tests for some of my
modules. this is an interested technique i don't see used that often. it
makes it easier to create many more tests with variations than doing it
all by hand. it works best with library type code with known inputs and
predictable outputs but you can use it with most projects. i will be
able to go over the code used in driving the tests (shared with several
.t test scripts) and examples of the test tables. the code i have can be
easily modified to the needs of other projects (i intend to use it
myself for other projects).

let me know if this is interesting. i won't be able to whip up slides
but the code is useful and fairly clean. you can look at it on cpan
with my Sort::Maker module.

thanx,

uri
