Not just to go through proper "channels" but some computer savvy LE trained professional who goes out and joins these groups (I'm sure some are on here now), but also lets others in the channels know who they are in some "off list descreet way". Perhaps just the list moderator would know. There is a lot of info barriors between LE professionals and computer security folks. These need to come down. The problem with LE support is of course money and resources, but if a 15 yr old kid can afford go out on the internet and dig up information, I'm sure this same tactic is not going to "break the piggy banks" of those paying the LE's salaries. The information I see on this list, can certainly mean doom to a botnet operator if properly presented to the LE's case. Perhaps the LE's should step in and ask us how we can present our evidence in such a way as to stand up in court. It would be interesting to draw more LE folks to this list, so we can have an active dialog with them, and I'm not just talking about the Americans, but from as many countries as possible.
