Crane, who introduced the bill.  After espousing strong anti-immigrant sentiment, he said he was pulling the bill and would re-introduce it later.  Following over six hours of testimony, many of it wonderful insight by you and other allies, the bills were discussed, amended and voted on by committee members.  Two of the bills passed; HB 1306: Secure and Verifiable Audit and an amended/watered down HB 1131: Bail Bonding Agents Illegal Immigration.  The decision was made to have further discussion at a later date on HB 1343: Illegal Aliens and Public Contracts.        In solidarity, Gabriela   Gabriela C.
