The Penrose Nonprofit Institute Staff is actively seeking candidate nominations
for this year's Nonprofit Executive Leadership Program (NELP). As always,
we value your input and hope that you will assist us with any leads that you
may have regarding potential candidates. NELP 2006 will take
place September 5-8 and applications are due May 26. Below is a program
description and criteria for potential applicants. Attached is the 2006
application for your reference. As you know, this is a
great opportunity for personal, professional and leadership development. Please
provide name(s), organization(s) and addresses of people who you think would be
a great addition to NELP 2006. Questions may be directed to Description: El Pomar
Foundation and the Center for Creative Leadership work together to provide an
unprecedented leadership development program that has received countless
accolades. Traditionally, NELP is hosted at the Center for Creative Leadership
and attracts some of the best and brightest nonprofit executives from
throughout the state. The strength of this program is its groundbreaking
experience in personal, professional, and leadership development through an
intensive course of 14 training modules over the course of four days. The

Preferred Criteria: o
Applicant is a nonprofit
CEO/President/Executive Director. o
Operates an annual
budget of $500,000 or more. o
Has at least 5 years of
executive experience in the nonprofit
sector. o
Has a strong interest in leadership
development. o
Completed application must be
