The exceptions are two federally-mandated services: K-12 education and emergency medical care.     The initiative also gives any legal Colorado resident the right to sue a state or local government suspected of violating the measure.     Keep Colorado Safe is the official campaign mounted to oppose the Defend Colorado Now initiative. Keep Colorado Safe represents a diverse collection of Republicans and Democrats, educators, health care professionals, labor unions and representatives from a range of public services concerned about the recent debates on immigration.       The Colorado Alliance for Immigration Reform (CAIR), based in Lakewood, is a Colorado non-profit corporation advocating for immigration reduction.     "Immigration is one of the the hottest issues on the political map in this election year, and the issues will be decided by the voters in these kinds of forums," said Stan Weekes, forum organizer and CAIR spokesman.     The forum is free and open to the public.       Feel free to forward this e-mail to a friend.     Please consider supporting the Bell with a financial contribution today.
