Please make sure that the Army Reserve building
on Table Mesa Blvd.
will not be used as a polling place any more. I helped to coordinate
voting at this place. In the midst of election day the Army has decided
to close off the parking lot to voters. People had to cross busy Table
Mesa to get to the polling place from the RTD parking lot across the street. I
watched people with canes cross busy traffic.
Even though several lawyers tried to
re-open the parking lot, 9/11 was cited and we could not do anything to help
people. Yet, that same summer people voted and parked at the same place
w/out any problems. Please don’t use this place any more…..Anne
