Dear Sirs or Ma'am, I am writing you about my concerns with e-voting systems, and the software that is also included. I have studied computer programming and live with a master's computer engineer, and we both agree the system in place is just asking to be abused. Without proper human accounting, the outcome of any election could be dependent on one person with a little computer knowledge. Please implement a paper trailing system and a comparative hand counting to ensure that the we are not stripped of our fundamental truths of voting in our country. Furthermore, by using a Public software, software engineers all over the state could ensure that the software will run efficiently and effectively. My history with Linux says you could have a program within a week that is more accountable than a secret software system. Please consider these points in your upcoming meeting.
