Hi, Mary Ellen, I have also experienced the speech cutting out, most often when writing or reading email, as it just did as I write this! It happens also when in the Keymail menu section, when doing the connect sequence of c and enter twice. It does tend to be quite disconcerting. I also hope it is fixed in version 7, which I plan to order. Glad to have company in this problem! The speech is now back again. Kathy
