Rhonda, I made another atempt to insert the network card into the slot on the back of the braillenote, and I pressed the card in untill I felt a little click. Within a few seconds, I heard the bn say, "card inserted." Then, when I went back to the wireless ethernet on? currently no prompt, and pressed y for yes, the wireless ethernet menu came up. I selected the option that says, scan for wireless networks, and got a message that said, "no visible network." What does this message mean? and when I do scanns in the future, how will I know if I've found a network? Oh, and one more thing, the manual didn't say anything about this, but once you've connected to a wireless network, how do you log off of it? Thanks for your help. Mike Rochester, NY.
