Hi Mary, The qwerty keyboard has concave keys so your fingers fit the keys quite well. This is opposed to the older keyboards which were just flat keys.
I found it did take a little geting used to, but I really don't find it at all difficult to use now. The only key I do have a bit of trouble with is the right shift, but one could easily put a small marker dot on that to solve the problem. There are some already on the keyboard to assist you in positioning your hands properly. Again, you do get used to these kinds of things pretty easily after a bit of use. I personally prefer the qwerty keyboard as I've been punching away on pc keyboards for far too long. Don't know if anyone has commented on this, but I do find the keynote speech more clear on the MPower than in earlier units. That's probably somewhat of a personal preference thing though, but I offer it for what it's worth. Don
