Cachink as we used to say in Guide Dog training when giving a good leash correction! Talk about pulling the ground out from under me...what's the program? I had 5 email left in my Inbox. They all had the same subject line it so happened. I was leaving them there until the issue was cleared up then was going to only keep the one that did the clearing. So I read a message, then used ESCAPE to back out of it to the INBOX message list level and right arrowed to the next message. I did nothing about marking for later action that I knew of and I've managed inbox messages this way all along without difficulty and without problems leaving the open ones in the inbox until I decided what to do with then. At least it seemed to work all along except maybe that's why I lost big chunks of downloaded messages I never got to open, but that seems odd. Is this a glitch that means I must avoid Escaping backwards out of mail I'm reading in order to leave it where it started? If so, what should I be doing to back away from an open message wi thout having to take any action?
Because when I decided to keep message number 5 of the 5 with the same subject line, all 5 of the messages were moved unbidden to the same place.
