Hi Jeff,
Thanks for your message.
My son is here on leave from the Navy, but going back to Norfolk tomorrow.
We went to the Cingular dealer. They only had the Nokia, the 6672, which the
dealer sayd is the equivalent of the models you mentioned..
We followed your instructions and the phone did recognize the BN. (I have a Bn
"Transplant.") However, after connecting, it sais "no carrier."
Jeff, do you set up a connection in the E-Mail Set-up Menu, or do I just use
what I've had all along in "Directory of Services?"

To explain, when I dial the number, it is getting through to the phone but is
saying "No carrier."

I realized I may be at fault here, because I did set up another "service" in
the Directory of Services.
(I doubt you will get this today!
We are gonna try getting through to Tech Support in the moring.

Incidentally, I read the section on "bluetooth" and "connectivity" in the User
Guide. There is nothing about using the cellphone, only active sync and
network.

I did sign-up for the data service. However, I didn't get the "talk software"
because it didnn't seem practical for me as a hard-of-hearing person.
Take care and thanks again.
KC
