I understand this now. I had not realised tyhat the VoiceNote did not show the directory structure by default. It seems a really clunky way to navigate directories to me but I do understand how to do it now.
This being able to see either folders or files seems unecesary to me. As all folders are preceded with a slash why not make files and folders visible at all lebels? I don't suppose there is a way to change this? Graham
