Sherry and Issac, I've had my BrailleNote since 2001. I've been very pleased with it and it has continued to serve me well all these years without a single problem.
However, when I read about the initial release of the PK I couldn't help but ask myself what this means for those of us who own older BrailleNotes or VoiceNotes. Now that the mPower has been released, I'm even more concerned about where this will leave BrailleNote users in terms of upgradeability and support. Jonathan has always promised we won't be left behind -- I just hope that's true. Like many people on the list, I can't afford to purchase a new unit. I can't even afford an upgrade to GPS or 6.1. I don't want to be pessimistic here. I think it's *great* that Humanware continues to provide new and exciting products for the blind and deafblind -- and I applaud their efforts wholeheartedly!! However, I can't pretend that I'm not concerned about the future of the BrailleNote. Lisa
