This is Joseph. Does this freezing issue occurs with
mPower or PK units too? If this issue has happened
once before, I believe that the repair season has
returned again. I too have to return my BN Classic at
least once a year for: batery replacement, braille
display cleaning and maintenance, software upgrade,
etc. (I tend to send my unit aroung summer vacation so
I don't need to run into risk of losing my school
work.) I would like to ask people who had this
problem: does your unit have low battery capacity?
Does your unit say "battery is low" shortly followed
by "battery is critical?" There should be
approximately 1.5 to 2 hours between these prompts. I
hope HumanWare staff might be able to figure out what
is causing this issue soon. I hope this information
may help you.
