Hello Pam.
I don't know if this is right either, but this is how I tell the mPower to
disconnect from the wireless network.
Go to the connectivity menu and then to the wireless ethernet menu. The
first option will say, "Wireless ethernet on? Currently yes." I hit the
letter n on the braille keyboard and am then asked to wait for a minute
while the mPower disconnects from my wireless network. It says "now
disconnected" or something like that and when you hear that, exit to the
main menu and shut the mPower off. This is how I do it and it works well.
