Hello list,

I think I'll weigh in on this one.  There are 16 pitch settings in the BN.  I 
tried mine at 1 and 2 where it was very deep indeed.  I also tried pitch 16 and 
it really sounded strange to me.  I think speech is what a person is use to 
listening to.  On some things, I still like Dectalk speech especially on 
women's voices.  The ATT speech is suppose to be quite good.  I find the 
Keynote speech in my BN is quite good! I don't have hardly any mispronounced 
words in the BN speech.  I think it is quite good and I use the speech along 
with the braille.  Speech is really a matter of preference.
