The connection is wireless.
I got a wireless card with the unit.

Hello Denise:

The procedure you use depends entirely on how you connect to your home
network. If you use a wired connection, i.e. you have one of the low-power
Ethernet adapters attached to your rear compact flash slot connected via
cable directly to your router, then yes, the BrailleNote should connect to
it automatically assuming you tell it to use that adapter when you set up
the connection.

If you're using a wireless setup , i.e. you've installed a wireless card in
either your rear or PCMCIA (Side) slot on the Braille Note, then there are
a few more steps. Let us know what type of connection you're using and I'm
sure that one of us on the list can help.

hth
Jeff
