Hi Jean,

My guess is that it doesn't matter. I contemplated the same thing, and
bought a 512 MB card from buy.com. After a $7 rebate, it will only cost me
$18.95, so I figured it was too good a deal to pass up. While I would like
a larger card, and since my thumb drive doesn't work, I will probably get
one of those usb powered external hard drives that some on this list have
worked with, the 80 GB one to be specific. Now all I need is a working
unit, still awaiting its return. Apparently, as I feared my problem with
missing dots on the braille display has not been replicated, at least as of
last Friday. Tomorrow will be an important day regarding this matter, as
this needs to be resolved.
Best Regards,

Les

Okay. Since I'm getting the message that doing the upgrade will likely fix
the freeze problem, I'm looking at SD cards.

I know you guys said nothing larger than 512 MB. But if I only intend to
use this card for upgrades, etc., what about smaller ones? I see there are
128Mb and 256Mb ones. And I imagine brand doesn't matter?

Jean
