Hi Sandy,

You've probably already done this, but if not, make sure you change the braille
display selection in window eyes for the duration of your use of activesync.
When I want to use activesync on com1 I first go into the we control pannel and
to the "select braille display" dialog and set braille display to none.

This should free up com1 for you. I've also noticed that sometimes you need to
reboot the pc for com1 to really be freed up. This isn't consistent though,
but might be worth a try.

I still cannot get my ActiveSync to work. When I attempt to connect I get a

selected Com1 for the BrailleNote as a Braille display, and I am using
that feature to read this messge that I am currently composing. I am just
about ready to completely give up on Active Sync entirely and purchase one
of those compact flash cards. If I do that, what is the thing called that I
can use to plug into my PC so that I can then transfer files from the PC to
the BN? Thank you.
