Hi: - For your gps to automatically to keep a running dialog of what its
scanning, you need to first push "M" (which = repeat), and then the
corresponding letter to what you would like to have read out; whether it be
the streets, intersection, speed, etc..
Share your yesterdays, dream of tomorrow, but live for today!!

Subject: [Braillenote] BrailleNote GPS problem.

Hi Folks:

I was traveling with my wife for a drive of approximately 50 miles. I wanted
my BrailleNote GPS to automatically tell me the names of all of the streets
and points of interest as we passed them. I did not want to create a rout
since I was simply monitoring the progress of the drive. If the car stopped
an an intersection, the GPS system would give me appropriate information.
As long as the car was moving, however, it was necessary for me to
constantly query the system for the information. I checked and rechecked the
look around option however, I was unable to resolve my problem.

Am I doing something wrong or is what I am trying to do not possible.

By the way, my satellitereading was very good for the entire drive.

Thanks all over the place gang.
