I'm getting ready to go shopping for a wireless card, a router that is both
wireless and regularly routed, a compact flash card(s) and a serial cable.
I know that I can get the Ambicom wl1100c-cf or the wl1100c-cf2, but I'm
having trouble finding it online. What other wireless cards can I use?
Does anyone have any suggestions about what routers are best? Also, has
anyone used Audible.com with the BrailleNote? Thanks in advance for your
feedback.

I use the sandisk 128 wifi, and have not had any of this issue since day 1.
I do not take it out just leave it like a non wifi card and everything works
fine.

Once I get that card not recognized message, I also usually have to do a
reset to fix things. However, unless I slip up and forget, I rarely turn
off the unit with the card left in, thus I don't get that message very
often. Since that card kind of sticks out from the PK a bit, I just
didn't think about leaving it in there when I'm not using it.

Subject: [Braillenote] Problem With Wireless Card and My PK

Hello,

I have a Sand Disk wireless card, which is also a 128 meg memory card.
When I plug it in with the PK turned on, I get the "card inserted" message,
and am able to copy files to it, and read them.
Unfortunately, I haven't been able to try out the wireless feature yet.

If I turn the PK off and back on, I get the "card not recognized" message.
I continue to get this message even after unplugging the card. The machine
won't let me go to the main menu, or anywhere else, I have to do a reset to
get it to act normally.
Plugging the card back in, I get the same result when I turn the machine off
and back on.

Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, what is the answer?

Thanks, John
