That's right. And the reverse is true. If I want to delete files from my CF card and I want to be certain I can recover the files, I use my PC. Insert the CF card into the CF card reader and use Windows Explorer to delete the files. The deleted files go into the recycle bin so I can restore any file I deleted by accident.
