Dean, I'm still confused. Do I understand the hardware cannot be upgraded but the software can? Or do you mean neither the hardware nor the software can be upgraded?

Hi Terri,

It is not possible to upgrade the old hardware to KeySoft 6.2.  For one
thing, many parts of the software rely on an arm compatible processor being present. The processor being used on the BTs and QTs you have now is a Myps
processor.

I talk to a girl in HumanWare customer service who said it's impossible to
upgrade software for the older BrailleNotes to 6.2.  But I got the
impression from Jonathan's post it is possible to upgrade to 6.2 but some
