Thanks, now can you tell me the keys to use for the pound and star
key. I did look in the computer braille list, but couldn't find anything.

put a *70,, in front of your dial-up number. i.e.
*70,,555-1212
the two commas are to put a small pause to allow the "Call waiting
deactivation" to take place.
