Hi Blake, KC here. The answer to your question is YES. Furthermore, you are correct: you could use a Bluetooth keyboard and ask the person who is deaf-blind to turn on the speech. One more thing: Since everyone is raving about Eloquence, I should point out that some hearing folks find the older speech synthesizer difficult to understand. Unfortunately, I'm told if the other party is using a Classic, Eloquence won't be an option.
