We are not just talking about writing checks.  We want a program that can help 
us keep track of all our transactions, checking, savings, or credit cards.

I personally wouldn't use a cheque programme, as I stopped using them some
16 years ago.  They're so last century.  If I have to write the odd cheque
now, I do it on the net but otherwise, the phone is my thing. Here in NZ,
we're prolific users of EFTPOS, too.
