This is Joseph. As long as the driver does not require any more
configuration, it is safe to install it. To remove the driver, simply delete
the Windows folder on the Flash Disk.

You want to be careful with that. KeySoft will NOT support any
programs not written for it, and HW takes no responsibility for
damages (which can be irreversible) caused by running
unauthorized software. Drivers are one thing; they just tell the
operating system what to do with that device. Applications are
another: they require user input and interface and can therefore
cause damage by messing with KeySoft.
I don't mean to sound like I know a lot about this stuff--I've
just read the manual a bunch of times and know that drivers and
applications are different things. Just be careful.

This is Joseph. Installing a device driver is same as installing
any KeySoft
program.
P.S. For more information on this, check out the list's archive.
It can be
found mainly at the November archive.

This is Joseph. .sys files are system files. You need to install
drivers
that are compatible with Windows CE operating system. One more
thing to
consider: because of the CPU differences, you need to install
drivers that
are compiatible with MIPS on Classic units, and on the PK and
mPower, you
need to install drivers that are compatible with the ARM
processor. I hope
this information may help you.
P.S. Most Drivers these days has file extension of .dll. .sys
file format
is
used for files that are system-specific e.g. booting, system
initialization,
etc.

I thought DLL's were dynamic link libraries, and drivers were
sys files.
Of course this is windows® CE, so things may be different. I
have a quick
question. Which version of the driver should be installed? Is
there a
specific driver for the Windows® CE operating system?
