Ok, this may have been discussed before, if so, please direct me
to where to
find this info. I am working on connecting my nokia 6620 to my
mpower using
Bluetooth. In the mpower, I searched for Bluetooth devices, it
say my
phone, and I paired them, at least on the mpower, didn't use an
authentication code, but it saw it as a modem service. So now,
when putting
the info in the connectivity menu, I was asked for a phone
number, and I'm
not sure what to put. My cell does have web access, but I want
to call in
and gain access with my mpower. Also, what do I put for the
service info
and all? Do I use the sbc one, or the one that goes with my
email account,
which is ev1?
So, any help would be appreciated.

Sue, I'm also with Verizon for my cell phone. I recently bought
a Nokia 6236 I cell phone from Verizon, and through its infrared
it works with the BN mPower nicely, and was not too expensive.
You do not have to pay extra for data service, you just use the
same dial up numbers as previously with your serial phone. I
also used serial with my classic.
Granted, the bluetooth connectivity is faster downloading, but I
could not get the mPower and the bluetooth phones I tried to work
together.
Infrared unfortunately limits where the phone can be in relation
to the mPower as compared with the bluetooth, but at least for my
purposes it works fine.
HTH.
Kathy
