Hello Everybody,

Have any of you streamed audio from npr.org? I have been doing so over the past
week and have noticed that each time I click on the link to the 24-hour stream,
I get a "network login list" with a list of fields asking for my domain name
and password. This does not happen when I access the same stream with my PC. I
am usually able to exit out of this list with no difficulties by pressing the
escape key, although it may have been possible that a couple of times I had to
click on the link more than once before the stream started. This may have had
to do with the time it took for the stream to be processed and not necessarily
because the link was not working. I also notice that these boxes appear at the
start of a new program or segment of a program. For example, when I am
listening to the program "All Things Considered" the stream will stop and the
box will reappear at the start of each news story. Once I exit out of this
list. the stream resumes. Could someone please explain to me why this is the
case? Thanks in advance for any help you may have.
Lindsay
