Oh, sorry, I know all those links can be confusing. So, let's try again. As I mentioned, the cafe and the interactive streams readily say that they have modem streams. So, I'll give you the link specifically to those pages. Then, activate either of the links and press l and see if it gets you to a link to listen with a modem connection using Winamp.

I'm not understanding something, though, for some reason. Will this work with dialup until I can get high-speed? What do I do to get this to work with dialup, unless you told me already grin. I have a Bt 18 m-power transplant. Then, several links down on this page, there will be the four links to each of the pages for the ACB Radio's four different streams. Then, when you activate the link for one of these pages, you would want to choose the option to listen with Winamp. To find the link for the first page, you might search for connect to ACB Radio main stream. And, oh, now that I check a bit further, I can readily see that the second and fourth streams, meaning the cafe and interactive streams, do indeed have modem streams. Now, here is the link: http://www.acbradio.org/pweb/?&MMN_position=11:11 ----- Original Message ----- From: "Nancy Ungar" <[EMAIL PROTECTED] To: "Braille Note" <[email protected] Sent: Sunday, April 16, 2006 9:27 PM Subject: re: [Braillenote] Audio streaming and dialup Hi, Jeff and list. Jeff, how do I find this, and where is it on the site? Could you or someone tell me? I'm not sure what to loo for on the Acb web site. Thanks again. Sorry for thecctinuous posts. If memory serves, I think the ACB radio stream has a stream suitable for dial-up listeners and if you make that choice, you'll get a pretty good version of the stream if a bit less high fedelity. hth Jeff > ----- Original Message ----- >From: Nancy Ungar <[EMAIL PROTECTED] >To: Braille Note <[email protected] >Date: Sat, 15 Apr 2006 23:17:53 -0700 >Subject: [Braillenote] Audio streaming and dialup >Hi.
