Hi, I found it easier to remove cf card if pk was out of its case and then over time it became easier to pull out.
Sylvia.

A dime works great and put it under the edge of the cf card and
push down on
the dime and it pops rite out.

Hi,

I've used a stylus a time or two. If you are very careful, you
can
leverage the card out by putting the tip of the stylus just
behind
the ridge on the CF card at just about the center of the card and
with very slight pressure, get it to move enough to get a grip on
it.

If one is using fingernails, I've found that if I use both index
fingers on both the far left and right, I have better luck.

I hope that helps,
Richard

Hi All,

Yes, I know I've asked this before; but, seeing as it has been
awhile, I
figured I would ask again for possible ideas.

Now, myself, on most occasions, I've managed to readily get the
CF card out
of my PK. Only on very few occasions, those when I've managed to
have
several fingernails broken/chipped at once, has it taken me
fifteen minutes
and lots
of trying to remove the card.

A friend of mine, though, just purchased a PK and GPS at CSUN.
And, she
called me last night trying to get the card out of the machine.
I did
suggest
the fingernails, but she said she really doesn't have any to
speak of; and,
those she does have just break real easily. In fact, I've
chipped a nail
or
two myself on more than one occasion trying to get my CF card
back, so to
speak. My friend went and asked someone for help last night, but
of course
she
doesn't want to have to do that on a regular basis.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks.
