Actually folks on this list helped me a while back with my earthlink dial-up. It took a while, but had to remove and add the same connection configuration several times before it started working. Almost gave it up, but Sarah, Rhonda, Sarai, Stacy Don, Jeff and others suggested to keep trying, so I did, and every once in a while I still need to do that, but it works for the most part. I believe you have the right configuration in place. Also, be sure that authentication is set to yes in your directory of accounts in the e-mail set up menu.
