Liz, Yes, my WiFi card in my BN PK is fine. The Starbucks is 3 blocks from here but I can not connect it from here at home. I have to go there. I went there only 2 times for the years. I prefer I go anywhere. I am not interest in the hotspots.
I guess I need the wireless modem or cellphone as modem with Bluetooth. I have a TMobile wireless account for when I am at Starbucks and at airports. The TMobile site is quite accessible, and works well with the BrailleNote. I also have a wireless router at home and love it. It's great to use the bn anywhere in the house. I read many of you like or love WiFi. I am wondering what does it mean to you? I have CF WiFi card for my PK. I know how to use it among the hot spots as I rode on the bus. I know I can not stay there for a while like I wait for the bus coming. All of the hot spots are "ssid" as I thought it means secure. I can not access there or I have to pay the monthly services. Are there another way to use the WiFi? I also have Sony VAIO with built-in WiFi. Could PK and PC communicate each other without the router? Your advise or help will make me happier for surely.
