Gail;
I would call your closest office and describe yourhappening. I would
request that they let you return the unit for a thurough check over. A
fall on a hard surface like that could do some damage to the unit. Make
sure they understand that it was not your falt.
When you receive your unit back, check the case carefully, before using.
Good luck in getting cooperation.

Subject: [Braillenote] A Coupleof Questions

Hi Everyone,

First of all, let me say that I'm confused. The two-piece
adapter. Is it new and improved somehow. It truly has been awhile
since I have read messages on this list. I'm behind and so this
might have already been answered. If this is the case, would someone
write me oflist?

Secondly, I got my m-power back from the Braillenote hospital today.
While I am happy to have it back and have 7.2 installed, I have had a
most unfortunate incident. I'm walking down the street and the
Braillenot falls out of the case onto concrete. It did a reset of
some sort because when I picked it up, I got the music and the signon
message of the keysoft version ETC. The snaps were not secured. I
don't like to quibble, but I would think that the unit would have
bben snapped back in the case like I sent it.

While I appreciate the Humanware support, I have had it in the shop
twice recently--once because of some bent card slots and once because
of a broken braille display pin.

Thanks in advance for your help.
