Well, replying to my own message here. But, as someone pointed out, yes, I
did forget the SD card slot. And, too, I'm thinking you would get the
additional calculator functions, as well as the database functions, and the
games, too, just by upgrading your classic. However, I didn't think you
were considering that option, thus didn't mention it before.

Oh, gee, it's been a bit since I've thought a lot about the differences
between the mPower and the classic. But, I'll give it a try.

The mPower would do things much faster--download email and open files and
the like. The mPower has USB ports, both for using ActiveSync with say your
laptop, as well as for hooking up certain USB hard drives and thumb drives.
The mPower has built in Bluetooth for ActiveSync or using your BN as a
speech synthesizer for your computer or for using your BN to control your
computer or for using your cell phone as a modem for retrieving email or
browsing the web. The mPower also supports streaming audio from the net.
And, oh, yes, it has a larger flash disk. Also, there are the expanded
features to the media player as well, such as the voice memos and the FM
radio. Oh, and for a high school student, the statistics and fractions
advancements to the calculator could be important as well, as well as could
be the database
functions.
