Brian,
In addition I would say that the BN comes with a case,and is smaller than
the other PDA in question therefore is easier to transport. It also has a
quieter keyboard.

Dear Corey:
The pro's of the BrailleNote are:
-it doesn't lose data from its flash disk even if the battery
runs flat;
Designed from the ground up for blind users and especially of
Braille;
Reasonably simple to operate and when you get to know the
commands say for formatting text, pretty darn quick to use.
Reasonable battery life.
Can use SD, Cf and PC/MCIA cards.
Support list full of friendly people who know what they are
talking about generally, and selected Humanware staff participate
regularly on the list.
Disadvantages:
Only uses two different wireless cards, one discontinued and the
other scheduled to be discontinued in the foreseeable future.
Closed system: You cannot add applications to it from most third
parties.
Uses only one brand of low power Ethernet card;
Only works with certain printers and some it is supposed to work
with only work by serial or Parallel port, not USB;
Cannot be used as Braille Display for a PC using USB port, must
use serial or blue tooth only.
If you can live with the above limitations, then buy a
BrailleNote Mpower!
If you can't, go check out the features and limitations of the
neighbours.
Brian
