I could figure out thanks to suggestions on the list.
Thanks all.
Now the next query is if there is is a tutorial available for the best
settings while using BN as a terminal for jaws?
What will be the best settings? I still have to learn 8 dots braille.
secondly for some reason, when I tried using it, the thumb keys were not
performing the roll I assigned when I customised them for BN operations.
When I use them on Bn as terminal for Screen readers they behaved as in the
default setting. Whereas if I use only braille note as an independent unit,
they work as customised.
Thanks in anticipation for further suggestions.

Hi, it has been awhile since I have done this but from what I can remember
once you have selected Braille note as your Braille display in jaws, you
then need to restart jaws. It should work after that.
Give it a try and let me know if it doesn't work and I will dig out my
Braille note and try it here. I use my PK most of the time now and I
haven't
tried using that as a Braille display yet.
Hope this helps,
From Shaz.

Subject: [Braillenote] using BN qt 32 as terminal for screen readers
Hi all.
I am new to the list and I am sorry if this discussion has already taken
place.
I was trying to figure out how to use BN qt 32 as terminal for Jaws 7.
I am using a USB to serial adapter with my laptop. if somebody could give
me
detailed instructions how to work this out or could inform me Where to get
the detailed information.
The manual hasn't helped at all.
In jaws options I set braille note as my remote braille display. I had no
clue what to do next. When I assumed I had done everything that was
needed,
BN display as blank as blank it could be.
Thanks for any help.
Regards
St
