Michele, have you tried exporting your document? I would try
exporting it to a dot brf, and see if the inside of it reads
correctly. The file name will be in grade one, but the inside
should be a grade two document.

Hello Michele,
My BT M-power is set to grade two reading. I often take a file
like the one
you described and copy it into the clipboard with the block
commands menu.
I then create another blank document with a similar name to the
original and
paste the clipboard into the newly created file. This takes care
of much of
the Word formatting that one encounters plus it properly
translates into
braille. You may need to deal with a few format items but it
works very
well.

Subject: [Braillenote] Trouble With Document
Hi Listers. I am
having trouble with
a particular
Microsoft Word
document. When I
translated it into
braille, it
translated into
grade 0 Bletter,
although my Bletter
display settings are
set to grade 2
Braille for reading.
I tried pressing
backspace with b,
but the message came
up, "that is already
the current grade".
Besides the grade 0
indicator at the top
of the document, the
Braille itself is
totally uncontracted
and very slow to
read. I'm not sure
what to do. Any
help would be most
appreciated.
Thanks!
Michele
