But does your State Farm policy cover your technical equipment from ALL PERILS or just theft and fire? Most policies only cover the stuff they insure from Fire and theft and exclude say water damage unless it is the result of a fire and the Fire Department poured half of Lake Superior into your place to put it out. Brian Oh a Peril is something that if it happens, the insurance company pays. And be sure you know if you have replacement cost coverage or depreciated value coverage. There is a big difference!
