Hello Mr. Townsend and list, This is really not a big problem for the BN family of products. When going into the utilities menu, type D for date and time. Follow the prompts. One of these asks whether you want to be in daylight savings time or not, type Y for yes and N for no. Your BN will act accordingly to how you wish it to be. Just set it to yes when you decide to move the hour forward. As for your PC, I'm certain Microsoft will take care of all of this in an update so as far as the PC goes, this will be painless for the most part.

This year there is a change in that timing. Has there been an adjustment in the software to compensate for this change? If not it may not make changes when they ought to be made and make changes when they ought not to be made. Here is an email our company IT folks sent out today: This year Daylight Saving Time (DST) in the United States and Canada will start three weeks earlier (2:00 A.M. on the second Sunday in March) and will end one week later (2:00 A.M. on the first Sunday in November) than last year. To make this transition as seamless as possibleeaeveryone using calendarstscheduling applications should give extra attention to meetings and appointments scheduled between March 11, 2007 to April 1, 2007 and October 28, 2007 to November 4, 2007. If you are responsible for a computer related system at Halifax, please contact your vendor to discuss the DST change and what the potential impact could be.
