Hi there,
What does the c and d value tell you?, If it is a Classic, read this; if it is an mPower, read the second notes: The default battery value for c and d is 33904 on Classic. If the c and d value says 20000 or less, then it is time for another battery. In case of an mPower, the default c and d value is 1800 or 1650 depending on the hardware configuration. If the c and d values gives you less then 1300 (in terms of 1800 battery) or 1150 (in terms of 1650 battery), then it is time for another battery. Based on your KeySoft version, it appears that you have a Classic, correct? Are there any cards that are plugged into your BrailleNote?
Cheers,
Joseph PddS. Would you mind be more specific and please give us details and a definite question.

Subject: [Braillenote] BrailleNote battery
question.

Hello All,

I have a BrailleNote BT running version
5.1. I sent it back for
a battery replacement last summer. Pryar to
sending the unit back,
the battery gage indicator registered that
the gage was "inacurate".
When it was returned to me, I checked to see
if this message had
changed. It had. Why would a BrailleNote,
with an accurite gage and
full charge at 7:15 AM, die at 3:30 with no
minimal use?
