Nikki, Sharonda asked me about this a few wekks ago, and I've briefly mentioned serial to UsB adapter on my USB tutorial. When that particular adapter is connected, it should use UsB Communication Device class to communicate with your computer. It might assign a com port based on the serial port adapter that is connected. JAWS 7.10 and higher supports up to Com 8, whereas 7.0 and under supports up to Com 4. Cheers, Joseph

Is there any way at all to use a USB to serial converter of some sort to do this? I only have one serial port on my computer and I already have a label printer plugged into that. Any ideas?
