Hi Rebecca,
That 25 pin thingy is parallel port. Your serial port would look just like your mPower to the right of the CF slot. You can use either serial or Bluetooth (be sure to select Terminal with the correct communications port before loading the screen reader in question). If using Bluetooth, you'll need to pair it and then use it (if someone has detailed information that I've sent earlier, could you mind send Rebecca a message with the instructions on using Bluetooth and BrailleNote?).
Cheers,
Joseph

Subject: [Braillenote] m-power as terminal

I used to be able to hook up my Braille Note
to the desktop and use it
as a braille display, especially useful when
reading foreign language
websites.

I can't seem to make the m-power do this,
partly as the choice from the
Braille Terminal menu does not include USB.
My PC has only one serial
port, at least, I think it's a serial port,
25-pin, but JAWS keeps
insisting that it can't read the Braille
driver so I don't know whether
the problem is with the m-power or JAWS. Any
advice?
Rebecca Redmile
