Becky, The USB driver mentioned can be found here: http://www.humanware.com/Resources/drivers.asp
I was also sent a compatibility list from Humanware which gives the products they have tested and whether they work or not with mPower products. It's dated January 2006, so I suppose that is the latest version they have. I haven't been on this list long so don't know if this is general knowledge; I have reproduced the list below in case it isn't. mPower compatibility list: January 2006 Device or Application works: Ambicom WL1100C-CF revision 2 Apple Ipod shuffle 1gb Archos Arcdisk 20GB USB portable hard disk Blue Tooth NokiaGSM6600 Cell Phone Edgeport parallel to USB converter Epson 84c inkjet printer with mPower on USB parallel adaptor cable Epson 86c inkjet printer with mPower on USB parallel adaptor cable Giant Squid Audio Lab Mini Gold Plated Mono Mic HP 450 cb and cbi portable printers HP 450 WBT Printer HP 5650 HP 6540 DeskJet hp 845 printer hp 895 c printer, HP 930 c with USB cable or parallel USB converter HP LaserJet 1200 HP Office Jet all in One V40 IR 100M IrDA Printer Adapter Kingston - 1GB Secure Digital Flash Memory Card Kingston 5 gb microdrive works in right side PCMCIA port LaCie USB external floppy drive Logitech Cordless Desktop MX For Bluetooth Keyboard & Mouse - USB Memorex USB thumb drive Microsoft Wireless Optical Bluetooth Keyboard / Mouse Combo - M54-00004 Pny technologies USB thumb drive RF Logitech wireless keyboard SanDisk Connect Plus CF WiFi + 128MB Memory card Sandisk mini Cruzer USB thumb drive Sandisk Titanium Cruzer 512 MB jump drive SanDisk USB Thumb Drives Staples relay 512mb USB thumb drive TDK USB Floppy Drives THINKOUTSIDE - STOWAWAY BLUETOOTH KEYBOARD Toshiba 30 gb drive, powered by USB port Toshiba 5 gb micro drive works in right side PCMCIA port Toshiba 60 gb pocket hard drive only with AC power 5 volt adaptor Virtually Indestructible Keyboard (USB) Western Digital 80 GB Passport 2.5-inch External Hard Drive Western Digital passport) 80 GB external USB hard drive Western Digital PassportT USB Hard Drive (model number is:WDXML800UETN) xgigibite bank USB external hard disk, 4gb Device or Application doesn't work: AIO Canon Pixma MP500 Cannon Pixma ip1500 CANON Pixma Printer IP2000 EPSON AIO CS-4800 Epson Sylus C86 HP 3845 DeskJet HP AIO PSC 2355 HP DeskJet 3650 HP DeskJet 3930 HP DeskJet 6840 HP Folding Bluetooth Keyboard HP Photo smart 7660 Lexar - 1GB USB Jump Drive Sport PNY Attaché USB Thumb Key Socket Card Low Power Wireless LAN type I CF card Super disk drive Hope this helps, --- Steve Griffiths, IT Trainer, Access Technology Support Unit Royal National Institute of the Blind 105 Judd Street London WC1H 9NE Tel: 020 7391 2232 Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fax: 020 7383 2034 Web: http://www.rnib.org.uk/ -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of kevin chao Sent: 12 March 2007 19:52 To: Becky; Braillenote List Subject: Re: [Braillenote] MPOWER USB Ports Becky, I tried sending you in a form of an attachment the driver and instructions for the USB driver, but it seems that you have some sort of filter that had the email bounce back,. The driver can be found on the HumanWare website, if someone has the direct URL can you please post it?
