These high-capacity SD cards that you are mentioning will work with the
BrailleNote mPowers. There will be a driver that will be released shortly
that will allow for people to read/write to cards that are larger than 2 GB.
At the moment people are able to use these high-capacity cards but anything
that consumes more than about 1.5 GB of the card, anything beyond that is no
longer accessible through the BrailleNote. But like I said earlier there
will be a driver released shortly that will allow users to read/write to the
entire card.

checked yesterday and you can purchase a Sandisk 4gb compact flash card
for around $78 U.S. dollars with free shipping. A 1gb Sandisk CF card is
under $30, with 2gb around $50. SD cards have similar prices. Out of the
box, I don't know if the BrailleNote can handle high-capacity SD cards
larger than 2gb, such as an 8GB SD card they sell for $156.
