Hi, something I have found with Word Docs is if they have a table in them
they won't open on the BN. I know this because one of the reports I use to
get for a meeting had a table in it and I couldn't open it on my BN but the
other documents I got for the meeting which were created on the same
computer were able to be opened on the BN.

So about all I can suggest is you contact your teacher and ask if the
document has a table in it and if yes ask if it can be removed or forward it
onto a friend with a computer and ask them to check it for you. If there
isn't a table then the only other thing I can suggest is if you can get it
saved as a text document and try it again on the BN.

Hope this helps,

Subject: [Braillenote] Word file not working

Hi List,
Can anyone tell me how to fix a problem with a word file?
It is an attachment sent by a teacher which is in word format.
I am not sure which version of word she uses, but I opened the file a few
minutes ago. I got the message saying that this is not a valid 6,0 document
or something like that. As my laptop is unavailable can anyone please tell
me how I can fix the problem on the Bn?
When detaching the file I said yes to the prompt about converting the word
file to Keyword format. I opened the file, but I still got that message
about it being not a valid 6,0 document.
